NAD eHuddle 2019 - Ron Pickell - Then Most Strategic Mission Field

In this video, Ron Pickell explores the importance of public campus ministry, and how it is one of the most strategic mission fields in the world today. We need to be showing students the love of God as they develop their ideas about the world, yet we do not have a presence on many public campuses. At these campuses we have an opportunity to minister to students from a variety of backgrounds, nationalities, and beliefs. How can your church minister to the public campuses around you?

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Darron Pratt

In this video, Darron Pratt discusses the importance of children's ministry especially since children are ready for religion more quickly than we realize. This means that if we want to make our children understand the importance of a relationship of God, we need to do more work with them when they are still young. How does your church minister to children?

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Dan Jackson

In this video, Dan Jackson explores the importance of evangelism and the hope that we find there. God has promised that He will never forsake us and that our evangelistic efforts will pay off. We cannot give up in our effort, and God will bless us with a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a shower of miracles much bigger than we can imagine. What is your church doing to connect with God?

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Yami Bazan

Yami Bazam presents how higher ed or education as a whole is evangelism at its best. Leaders and pastors get people for about an hour or two on Saturdays, but those who are in education have the chance to minister eight hours a day, five days a week. Bazam explains that educators should see their work as absolutely missional and evangelistic. They can educate the mind while, at the same time, they educate the spirit. She calls to a different kind of evangelism that she believes is the key before things flourish: the evangelism of the moment.

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Wayne Krause - We Exist for Those Who are Not Here

In this presentation Wayne Krause teaches that we exist for those who are not here yet. The churches that are quite comfortable and happy with what they are doing don't have an approach for discipleship. If we want a church community where everyone is welcomed it will include accountability and commitment. If the church is serious about making disciples, building disciples and growing disciples, it will be intentional, and it will grow in maturity and multiplication.

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Tim Gillespie & Rick Anderson - The Crosswalk Church

In 2014 Pastor Tim Gillespie was invited to be the pastor of Crosswalk Church. At that time the church had 85 people in attendance. The church had had a great moment in the early 2000's and then it had been languishing to the point of almost closing its doors. In this video Gillespie presents how his church became a vibrant, striving church again, which went from one service to two services to three services to having other campuses around US.

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Sergio Quevedo - Senior Pastor/Church Planter

God has called the church to multiply through church-plant. A missional church should be a multiplying church. In this video, Pastor Sergio Quevedo tells the story of One Connection Church, a church-plant started four years ago in Boston. Over 50% of people in New England is unchurched or de-churched. The core group met for eight months before they launched any kind of worship gathering. During that time, they were doing mission in the community and neighborhood, learning to be missionaries and relearning how to be normal people, without an agenda, and without looking at people as projects.

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Roy Ice - The 12 People You Love

Unless you smell like the people you are witnessing to, you are not witnessing. The last eight years we've lost 33.4% of members. The majority are not leaving because of conflict with our beliefs, they are leaving because of lack of meaningful connection with the church and its members. It should come as no surprise that our former members don't have strong feelings for us, because we seem to have minimal feelings for them. How do we change that? We must ask the question: how can we innovate? Roy Ice presents a program that has done all the difference in his church in California: The 12 People you Love.

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Next Generation - Church Revitalization in the North New South Wales Conference

Toms Evans and nine pastors from North New South Wales Conference present the work of the church in Australia and focus on church revitalization.. They present situations where there was no hope for the church to turn around, but God provided space for the Holy Spirit to work and things happen. When it comes to managing change, in any context, is difficult. In fact, the business worldwide tells you that 80% of the time you are guaranteed to fail, and the reason why is that people don't like to change. They show that the revitalization of churches in Australia is possible through the changes many pastors have been applying to their congregations.

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Michael Kelly - Script the Flip

In this video Pastor Michael Kelly teaches the concept that God has called us to grow His kingdom and not simply our churches. Many churches are full, but the community around them is dying, and that is not the picture Jesus had in mind when He said we should expand His kingdom. Kelly presents four principles his church has established as an initiative to reach the community: Roots, Recon, Reputation, Restoration. These principles are practical ways any leader can use in order to help the church to change the way they think about church growth versus kingdom growth.

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Kathy Perno - Relevant Care

Kathy Perno talks about how important it is for us in the church to take care of the whole person sitting in the pew. She reviews the SDA health care, helps understand health care's move towards whole person care, identifies what is a relevant ministry in 2019, assists us in grasping the value of whole person care in reaching souls, and reviews practical applications for the congregation. She challenges the leaders to imagine every congregation as a place of hope and healing and every hospital as a place of worship, using Whole Person Care as a framework in reaching souls for Christ.

NAD eHuddle 2019 - Kara Powell - Growing Young

In this presentation Kara Powell presents how our churches can continue to grow young, and how we can be more effective when it comes to reaching teenagers, young adults and their families with the gospel. Pastors and leaders must define reality of what is happening to young people and with our churches today. Powell spent four years studying 250 churches that aren't shrinking or aging but are growing in involving and retaining young people (ages 15-29), which brings overall vitality to the whole church.

eHuddle 2019 - Joseph Khabbaz - You Welcomed Me

In this presentation Joseph Khabbaz from Sligo SDA Church presents how the young adults of his church have created the program: "You Welcomed Me" which is a young adult refugee support ministry. He presents a study from Fast Company Magazine saying that 67% of consumers expect companies to create products and services that take a stand on issues that they feel passionate about. The study states that brands won't be able to survive without purpose. Now if a company needs to stand for something, what about the church? What does the church stand for? Do your young adults know what the church stands for?
