Foster multiple connection points that are welcoming and safe


  • Making it easy for people to come in and very hard to leave

  • People of all walks of life feel must feel safe in our churches

  • Intentional education of our membership on relational evangelism (how to genuinely treat non-Adventist friends, potential members and people who will never become members)

  • Make baptism process more accessible, followed by strong discipleship experience (Biblical baptism vs tradition)

  • Affirm and carry out the baptism of children who have made a decision to follow Jesus

  • Strong electronic presence (website, social media, apps, phone)

  • Churches accessible to community (visible signage, telephones, directions)

  • Consistency in the name and branding (Example: Seventh-day Adventist Church - Silver Spring Campus)

  • Relevance and more accessible to North American born, including second and third generation immigrants (including Jewish)

  • Embracing of various immigrant waves (Muslim, Hindu, refugees)

…each Adventist would be intentional about loving people, even those who are different.

…each Adventist Church would find practical ways to love people by meeting soome of the needs of its peeople

…each Adventist Church would observe the Compassion Weekend (every second weekend of the month) across North America.
